About BGC's New York office
Headquartered in New York, BGC has over 300 brokers based at its offices At 199 Water Street. In May 2005, BGC merged with Euro Brokers, a leading inter-dealer broker specialising in money market, derivative and other securities products. The integration of the two firms significantly enhanced BGC’s presence in New York, with the addition of over 150 brokers, in addition to teams joining our offices in London, Nyon and Mexico City.
BGC vowed to restore the New York operations after the devastation caused by the September 11, 2001 attacks. Euro Brokers, who lost 61 of their own colleagues and friends, have given us invaluable support in the work of rebuilding.
