BGC’s rapid expansion in Europe has included the acquisition of two Parisian businesses: ETC Pollak in 2005 and Aurel in 2006, now Aurel BGC. These acquisitions make BGC the leading non-bank affiliated inter-dealer broker within the French market. They also mark our entry into the growing European equity market.

Aurel BGC

BGC merged Aurel and ETC Pollak in October 2008 to create a single entity, Aurel BGC. The joining of these  businesses brought  together one of the major French inter-dealer brokers, founded in 1929, with one of the leading equity brokers in the country.

Aurel BGC provides services within the European equity, fixed income and equity derivative markets to institutional professionals and corporate clients. Aurel BGC is a member of ICMA, Euronext, Euronext Liffe and Eurex, and is a listing sponsor on the Alternext Market.
