Children in Crisis 2005 Winter Ball, London, November 16

BGC Partners were again the proud sponsors of this year’s Children in Crisis Winter Ball, hosted by the Duchess of York, Sarah Ferguson.

Due to it’s tremendous success last year, this year’s theme was again a recreation of a ‘Fairground Extravaganza’ where on arrival, guests entered the fairground hall taking part in traditional fairground games such as the Coconut Shy, Hoopla and Darts.

Once guests had cleaned up on prizes, more formal proceedings followed with dinner and then an auction where guests dug deep into their pockets to raise further money for charity.

The total amount raised from the night was an outstanding £70,000.
