Dealing Process

BGC Partners’ dealing process is a collaboration between a number of key groups within the organization: the credit risk desk, the compliance department and the sales and engineering teams within the structured products group.

The steps involved in the process are as follows:

  1. Determine the market expectation, the investment horizon and the client’s  risk / return  profile.
  2. Design the optimized risk return structure with proprietary pricing tools.
  3. Set up the maximum nominal limit depending on both structure of the product and client profile.
  4. Check legal obligations.
  5. Implement a competitive bid in order to deliver the best execution according to issuer quality.
  6. Display a secondary market service through Bloomberg, Reuters, Fininfo and Telekurs.
  7. Provide valuations issued from internal models for conciliation with that of calculating agent.
