Oyin Heath to join BGC Insurance Group’s new global aviation broker

BGC Insurance Group (BGCI), a division of BGC Partners Inc. (NASDAQ: BGCP), a leading global brokerage and financial technology company, today announced that Oyin Heath will join its newly-formed global aviation and space (re)insurance broker as Senior Partner.

Reporting to Marcel Chad, BGCI’s President of Global Aviation and Aerospace, she joins Philip Smaje, as one of the latest high-profile figures to join the team. Subject to regulatory approval, she will begin in her role on completion of notice period obligations.

Heath joins BGCI from Marsh JLT Speciality where she was a Managing Director and Leader of the Aerospace and Manufacturer Segments of the Aviation and Aerospace Division. She joined Marsh from Aon in 2012.
